Biography

Thomas (Tom) McVicar

Tom is a senior operations leader with over 15 years of experience in the insulation industry. As Director of Operations for Northern Alberta and British Columbia at Thomas Kanata Inc., he provides strategic leadership across estimating, project delivery, safety performance, contract administration, client relationships, and resource management. Tom has successfully led projects of varying scope, complexity, and financial scale, with a strong focus on operational excellence, risk management, and consistent execution. He is a graduate of NAIT’s Mechanical Engineering Technology and Project Management programs and holds a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation.
